About Problems and Solutions
There are many problems and solutions that I have faced just since my ship sank a few long days ago. I have two main problems...the problems are that for me to be able to survive, I must keep myself busy, and my other problem is that I have to do it while I am stuck on a boat with and orangutan, a hyena, a zebra and a Bengal tiger. My strategy is to let nature take its course and try to avoid interaction with all the animals on board. Today I found that the hyena and Richard Parker are the biggest threats to me because they are the only two left alive. I don't know what is going to happen because I am the only one that is not a predator that is on my boat. Also I can't get off the boat because the waters are shark infested, and if I go in the water then I'm just asking to be killed. To make sure I stay out of harms way I have came up with an idea to make a raft out of anything i can find that floats on the boat. I tied the raft that i made out of spare wood and life vests and I tied that to the main lifeboat just to keep my distance from Richard Parker. I am having a difficult time with keeping my hope alive that I will one day be saved and rescued. But I have made useful tools out of things I catch while I'm fishing such as turtles. A turtle's shell comes in very handy for almost everything I do and need to do in my daily routine such as eating. I use it as a bowl and a cutting board to prepare food for myself and Richard Parker.
