Richard Parker
The adult Bengal tiger that I am stuck on this boat with is very interesting. His name is Richard Parker. He doesn't do much other than sleep and try to eat any food that I catch. Even though he doesn't do much I am still fascinated with him but scared at the same time. Today was the first time that Richard Parker and I had our eyes meet one another. One of the fish that I caught today flopped onto the middle of the boat. This caused Richard Parker and I to have a staring contest basically to see who was dominant, and luckily after several minutes he backed off of it and I got to claim the food as mine and eat the fish peacefully knowing that I am dominant over Richard Parker. Many days have passed since the last time Richard Parker and I have had an argument over food. I think Richard Parker finally realized that he is not the alpha an I am the dominant one. Today Richard Parker knocked me off of the boat after a bunch of fish jumped on board. Luckily I had made a shield out of one of the turtle shells I caught or else his paw would have easily broken my ribs. I also thought I was dead when I remembered the sharks in the water underneath me...
